The research team, Led by Rory Eggleston, returned to the City of Rocks Jay feeding sites on Friday 2/9. After more than a week of letting the birds grow accustomed to the traps and the irresistable alure of peanuts, the team was able to trap, band, and collect data on at least six jays. The team will return soon for a second attempt at geo-tagging.
